Greetings AMCMS Parents and Guardians!

I hope this message finds you doing well. It is hard to believe, but we have made it to the month of December! When December arrives, the end of the fall semester is not far behind. Semester finals are fast approaching and students need to be prepared. Below you will see lots of information to help keep you informed as a parent at AMCMS. If you have any questions, please fill out the form at the bottom of this flyer and we will be in contact as soon as possible!

Sincerely,

Meet Assistant Principal Morchat

In case you did not know, Mrs. Pomales (7th grade assistant principal) resigned her position at AMCMS because her husband had a job transfer which took her to the Houston area.

Over the last two and a half weeks we have been searching for the replacement of Mrs. Pomalas's position through a three round interview process.

I am happy to announce that Mr. Danny Morchat will be joining the AMCMS family. Mr. Morchat comes from Oakwood where he has served as a math specialist, math teacher, and social studies teacher. Mr. Morchat brings 10 years of CSISD experience and 4 years of out of district experience plus other work-life experiences with him to AMCMS.

During his 10 years at Oakwood, Mr. Morchat has worked off and on with the robotics and athletics programs at AMCMS. He is very excited to be joining the AMCMS family full-time.

Cats Helping Cats

Cats Helping Cats What we do: Each year around the holiday season, we prepare gift baskets of essential household items, toiletries and food for families at AMCMS that could use some help making it through the holidays. We also use any extra funds to help students throughout the school year for any other needs that may arise. What you can do: We need donations of money, gift cards, or essential items like toothpaste, toothbrushes, toilet paper, shampoo, lotion, soap, tissues, detergent, etc. Would you please consider making a donation to help this worthy cause? We ask that donations are dropped off by 12th (that's a Tuesday in case they forget to bring on Monday) - that gives us rest of that week to buy any items and put together and ready to distribute by Monday, the 18th?
