Dear Glenbard D87 Families,
We understand that this is a time of uncertainty and concern for many families in our community. Recent reports about a potential disruption to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits have caused uncertainty and concern for many families who depend on this vital support to access daily essentials. At Glenbard District 87, we want our families to know that you are not alone, our district and community partners are here to support you. We remain deeply committed to ensuring that every student has access to nutritious meals and that families have the resources they need to stay nourished, healthy, and cared for during this time.
Glenbard D87 Free/Reduced Meal Program
If your student qualifies for free or reduced-price meals, they will continue to receive breakfast and lunch at no cost for the 2025–26 school year. Families who have not yet applied are encouraged to do so, as eligibility ensures students have consistent access to nutritious meals each school day. Apply online via PowerSchool:
1) Login to your PowerSchool guardian account at ps.glenbard.org
2) Click the “Online Apps” button on the left side
3) Click “Free/Reduced Lunch Application” and follow the prompts
