IMPORTANT NEWS
Welcome Back!
Thank you, Eagles, for a successful start to the school year. Whether you are an incoming 9th grader, or an experienced senior, we see you! Thank you for showing up ready to learn and build community.
Over the next few weeks, we will emphasize important safety rules and expectations. Of course, you can always access it all at one in your Student/Parent Handbooks as well.
This week's reminder: DRESS CODE
On Monday, August 18, 2025, enforcement of the dress code begins! Please take the time to review the image below and ensure that your fit meets the expectations. Beginning Monday, August 18th, students who are wearing inappropriate attire will sent to the Student Services office to either change into their PE clothes, a loaner shirt/shorts/pants, or sent home in order to change.
Again, Thank you all for a wonderful start to the school year. We Are Glenn. We Are Southeast. We Are In-Sync for Success.
Your Proud Principal,
Jennifer Padilla, Ed.D.
Welcome Southeast Academy Bulldogs!
A huge welcome to our Southeast Academy (SEA) cadets (students), families, and staff. At times, you may see updates in this newsletter about Southeast Academy.
Southeast Military and Law Enforcement Academy has been a part of John Glenn High School for many years. Up until now, they have been located across the street on Foster Road, with cadets and teachers traveling between both campuses. Now, our Southeast Academy cadets are on the JGHS campus and are primarily located in the Northeast portion of campus. While they mostly travel together to classes, not only will you see them about campus, you may even be enrolled in classes with some cadets (students). They are students, just like our Glenn Eagles, and we call them the Bulldogs.
THIS WEEK: What is Southeast Academy?
Welcome, Southeast Academy Bulldogs!
