Principal's Message
Good Evening Yowell Families,
On Tuesday our students will be bringing home their first quarter report cards. Be sure to look for them in the Tuesday folder. You can keep the report card, sign the envelope, and return the envelope.
We are canceling our planned Trunk or Treat at Yowell due to a lack of interest in setting up a trunk. Thank you to the families that stated they would participate. We will look forward to the next opportunity to make memories with our families.
This Friday will be our first SCA spirit day! The representatives would like to host pumpkins (orange) vs. bats (black). Break out your orange and black and decide if you are team pumpkin or bat!!
This year our theme at Yowell is Bee the Change. Local printer KASH Imprints is hosting a Bee the Change apparel sale that will remain open until November 6th. All orders will be fulfilled around Thanksgiving.

Did you know that CCPS is hiring substitute teachers and paraeducators? We offer monthly orientation sessions for you to get started. This is a great way to make some extra money and work a flexible schedule. Rates vary from $126 - $183 per day. Our next orientation session is on October 25th so apply today at culpeperschools.org

Transportation Information
In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here.
We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.
