Greetings, Warrior Families!
I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. As we are approaching the much-awaited holiday break, I wanted to take a moment to touch base with some important updates and reminders.
Firstly, I am thrilled to announce that we are only one week away from the Christmas break! This is a time for students and staff to unwind, recharge, and spend quality time with loved ones. The school will be closed from December 18th to January 2nd, and classes will resume on January 3rd, 2024. I encourage you all to make the most of this well-deserved break and create lasting memories with your families.
However, before we bid farewell to this semester, we have an essential milestone to navigate: semester exams. These exams are crucial for our students' academic progress and growth. To ensure they perform at their best, it is vital that they take care of their physical and mental well-being. I kindly request you to remind your children about the significance of getting sufficient rest, maintaining a healthy routine, and managing their time effectively during this exam week. A good night's sleep and a balanced lifestyle will greatly contribute to their success.

Food Pantry
We wanted to update you that a School Pantry Program is now available at PHS for students that need weekly food assistance. If you would like more information regarding the program, please contact your student's counselor.
The counselors started 9th grade course planning meetings with all Pieper 9th graders. Counselors will be reviewing credits, current classes, and plans after high school. Please reach out to your student's counselor if you have questions regarding your student and planning for their post-secondary goals. You will receive more information in January regarding the process of approving your student's plan in SchooLinks.
The counselors held a holiday themed Tranquil Tuesday this past week and created upcycled book trees in partnership with Mrs. Perez, PHS Librarian. The students enjoyed making this craft and we found a good use for older books! Please check back in January for Spring Semester Tranquil Tuesday dates.
