HS Parent Orientation - February 18 at 6:00 PM

The following link contains information regarding the parent orientation on Wednesday, February 18th from 6:00-7:30 PM.

Scheduling for 9th Grade Classes

Our 8th graders will be scheduling for High School in early March. Students and parents can email our school counselor Mrs. DeRidder at hderidder@capsk12.org or stop by the office with questions. To get you started, here are a few resources:

  • Scheduling Sheet with 4-year plan view
  • The 26-27 Course Catalog for CHS can be found here.

Parking Lot Safety Parking Lot Safety

We are noticing some unsafe morning drop off locations and we are asking for your help in keeping our students and staff safe in the mornings. Remember the following:

  • The only safe locations for dropping of students off are in the locations marked in GREEN in the photo below.
  • Do NOT drop students in the southern 2 lanes of the parking lot - marked in Red. Students walking from these locations create a very dangerous situation.
  • If dropping students off while using the parking lot, please only allow students out of your vehicle at the Green X and do not pull horizontally through the handicap spots. These must remain open.
  • Use extreme caution and slow speeds within the parking lot, watching for staff and students.
  • When directed by our crossing guard, consider pulling all the way through the main walkway and using the entire front sidewalk for drop off. This would make the line move much faster!

Please share this with any individual driving to CMS in the morning. Thank you!
