Standard School Hours

  • Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 9:05 AM โ€“ 3:35 PM

  • Wednesdays (Late Start): 9:15 AM โ€“ 3:35 PM (Wednesday mornings are reserved for teacher professional development.)

๐Ÿ’ก Parent Pro-Tip:

"If you aim to arrive by 9:00 AM, you're always on time!"

Help your child start their day strong and stress-free by being on time.

๐Ÿšช Arrival & Drop-Off

  • Doors Open & Supervision Begins:

    • Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 8:50 AM

    • Wednesdays: 9:00 AM

  • All students will enter through Door 9 and 10 (back of the school by blacktop/playground) and exit through their grade level door (Click link to see grade level door assignments on our map).

  • Early Drop-Off Notice: Please do not drop off or send students before these times above, as there is no supervision available prior to these times. Walkers and rollers (bikes/scooters) should plan their commute accordingly!

  • Late Arrivals: Any student arriving after school begins (9:05am) must enter through the main entrance at Door 1 (flagpole). Students not in their classrooms by the time the 9:05am bell rings, will be marked late. Pulling onto Redfield when the bell rings? Students arriving by car will be directed to Door 1 if they have not exited their vehicle by the time the 9:05am bell rings. We follow the decision rule of: โ€œIf the feet havenโ€™t touched the ground, then you have to go aroundโ€. Thanks for helping keep our systems running efficiently with the goal of getting students to their classrooms quickly to learn and grow!

  • Inclement Weather: These practices remain consistent throughout the school year and do not change due to inclement weather, please plan accordingly.

๐Ÿš— Dismissal

  • Dismissal Bell: 3:35 PM

  • Carline and Blacktop Supervision Closes: 3:45 PM

Attendance Matters! Attendance Matters!

Regular attendance is critical to student success. Please remember that every absence counts toward your child's attendance record, regardless of the reason.

How to Report an Absence (24/7):

  • ParentVUE App (Preferred): Click "Report Absences"

  • Phone: Call 630-428-6810

Please do not send absence notifications to your child's teacher, they will direct you to the system above.

Please Remember: State law requires a specific reason for every absence. If a reason is not provided at the time of reporting, our office will call you to follow up.

zoom_out_map
Per Illinios State Code, a public school child qualifies for free transportation if they live 1.5 miles or more from their assigned school, face an approved serious safety hazard on their walking route, require specialized transit via an Individualized Education Program (IEP), or qualify as homeless. If you qualify for transportation services, you will find bussing information in ParentVUE including your pick-up and drop-off time. Students should be at the bus stop at least 5 minutes prior to the estimated pick-up time.

All bus riders will arrive and dismiss through Door 2 (See linked map.).

How to find bus route โ€“ mobile app here and desktop here

Don't see the bus and want to know where it is? Check out this Tracking App:

MyStop Bus Tracking App

To increase the safety of our students and improve communication about their location while riding district-provided transportation, District 204 has technology called MyStop. The My Stop app is available to all District 204 families at no cost and allows parents and guardians to see an estimated time of arrival (ETA) for the bus arriving at their childโ€™s specific bus stop.

MyStop:

  • Allows parents/guardians and students to view the bus stop time, location, and projected arrival time. This feature is available during scheduled route times only.
  • Updates approximately every 5 seconds and adjusts the scheduled arrival time as the bus is traveling along its route.
  • Will show if the bus has already passed the assigned stop.

To learn how to access and use the MyStop Mobile App, view the My Stop User Guide.

Click here for more information on MyStop.

Carline Carline

Car
zoom_out_map

Students who arrive by car should follow the car rider visual map for lining up in the car line. The car line should not begin unloading until staff are on supervision at 8:50am (9:00am on Wednesdays).

Follow the Group Plan to Keep Everyone Safe: Please ensure you pull all the way up and follow our staff's lead. All cars will stop, students unload on the curb side, and the process will continue. The carline will close at 3:45pm each day. Any students not picked up at that time will be brought to the main office. Staff are not contracted past this time, so please do not make a habit of picking up your child late. If you need support beyond this time with child-care, please reach out to our before/after school program, Right at School.

Below is a video recorded to help provide a visual of the car line procedures. Please follow all street signs identified by the City of Naperville. Police will ticket.

*Kindergarten Parents: Parents should come to door 10 if picking up the kindergartner as a walker. Carline kindergarten students will join the "carline train" and be supervised at the carline.
