What is Proposition L?
The Wentzville School District Board of Education voted unanimously to place Proposition L – a zero-rate-change bond initiative – on the April 8, 2025, ballot. If passed, Prop L would address facility needs across the district by funding enhanced safety and security measures district-wide; renovating legacy buildings such as Heritage Elementary, Wentzville Middle, and Holt High School; resurfacing all WSD elementary playgrounds to improve accessibility; replacing turf at Holt, Liberty, and Timberland high schools' athletic fields; and more. Watch the video below and visit wsdlegacy.com to learn how Prop L would impact our school!

Summer School 2025
After School Procedures
To ensure the safety and supervision of all students, non-student athletes and non-student performers are required to leave campus immediately after school. This applies to students who are not in-season or participating in practices, games, or events. Students must leave via their designated bus route, personal vehicle, or through parent/friend pickup.
Students are not permitted to stay on campus for extended periods after school unless involved in scheduled school activities. Unsupervised lingering is not allowed due to safety concerns.
If your child plans to attend a sporting event or performance later in the day, they must go home after school and return with a ride. We ask for your help in ensuring all students have a safe and timely way home.
In-season student athletes and performers may remain on campus for open gyms, practices, games, and other school-sponsored activities.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

News & Celebrations
Keep reading to see all of the amazing things our Wolf community has been up to!
- On Friday, January 17, 2025, the Timberland Wolves battled the Zumwalt East Lions at home. During this game, senior Jacob Aydelott earned his 1,000th point in his Timberland basketball career. Jacob is the first Timberland student-athlete to reach this milestone, and has committed to Millikin University to continue his academic and basketball career. We are so proud of Jacob!
- Timberland's Varsity boys soccer coach Bradley Jacobsen went above and beyond by generously donating last year's Timberland soccer jerseys and gym bags to students in need in Malawi, Africa. The smiles on these students' faces say it all – check out the picture to the left to see their excitement! Not only were they thrilled to receive the donations, but they were also ecstatic to spot the Nike logo on each item. Awesome job, Brad!
- Timberland's Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) received a grant from MoDot to do a community project related to a traffic concern. Due to the many cars and students on the South Middle and Timberland High campus, this year, these students decided to address the crosswalks, specifically near the middle school.
- A special shout-out to Madeleine Kimball and Sophia Pashea for having their artwork selected for the highly competitive Young Artists Showcase 2025. Madeleine’s Rewoven (painting) and Sophia’s State of Oblivion (sculpture) will be featured among the best young artists in our area. The opening reception is on February 28 from 5-7 p.m., with awards presented at 6:15 PM.
Reminders
WSD COMMUNITY AGENCY (Opt Out Form)
Throughout the duration of the academic year, the Wentzville School District partners with community agencies that specialize in providing students, families, and educators with preventative education. The dates for each lesson are still to be determined – Sexual Abuse Prevention Program (9th, 10th, 11th, 12th grade), Emotional Wellness & Coping Skills (11th grade), and Suicide Prevention (9th, 10th, 12th grade).
11TH GRADE PARENTS
A second Meningitis (MCV4) vaccine is required for students entering 12th grade in the 2025-26 school year, unless your child received the first dose after their 16th birthday. Please check with your provider and send a copy of your child’s vaccination record to the school nurse, Donna Davis. Below is Nurse Donna's contact information.
- School Nurse Name: Donna Davis, RN
- School Phone: (636) 327-3988 ext. 2
- School Fax: (636) 445-5340
- School Email: donnadavis@wsdr4.org
SIGNING IN AND OUT
When students enter and exit the building anytime between 7:20 a.m. and 2:20 p.m., they must remember to sign in and sign out in the attendance office. The attendance secretary's name is Julia Johnson, and she would love to help students sign in and out.

Student & Staff Spotlight
Each month, Timberland's staff has the opportunity to shout out students and staff that are making a difference. In this month's "Student & Staff Spotlight," we celebrate the achievements and contributions of our exceptional individuals who make our school community vibrant and inspiring.
THS Student
Recently, Monica was absolutely amazing in helping out a new student who does not speak very much English. Monica did a great job translating for her, helping her find supplies, teaching her the classroom expectations. We appreciate Monica's kindness, support, and willingness to help her classmates in need!
Patti Manoli, Cafeteria Manager
Patti and her entire staff performed at the highest level during the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's review of our cafeteria process and guidelines. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job on a daily basis. We appreciate you and your team!
