A huge thank-you to everyone who contributed food for our staff luncheon on Friday! Everything was absolutely delicious, and it was the perfect way to end the week. We are so grateful for the kindness and support of our EGE families!

As a reminder, there will be no school on Friday, October 30, Monday, November 2, or Tuesday, November 3. We hope you enjoy this extended time together with your family.

We stayed above our 96% attendance goal last week with an overall attendance rate of 96.36%! Way to go, Eagles! A special congratulations to Pre-K for earning the highest attendance at 98.74%! Thank you, families, for helping your children arrive at school each day ready to learn, grow, and lead. Every day in the classroom makes a difference, and we appreciate your partnership in keeping our Eagles soaring!

A huge thank-you to the Buda Fire Department for helping make 4th grade science so exciting! As part of their energy unit, students designed and built protective containers to keep an egg safe when dropped from the fire truck. This hands-on learning experience gave our Eagles the opportunity to apply their knowledge of energy, forces, and engineering while testing their creative designs. We are so grateful to the Buda Fire Department for supporting our students and making learning come to life!

Want to help freshen up our school with your artwork? Enter the Eagle Expressions Art Challenge for a chance to have your artwork featured around campus! Choose from four fun categories, get creative, and let your leadership shine.

Try your hand at watercolor, colored pencil, mixed media, and more! All artwork must be created on paper (no canvases). See the flyer for more details!

• Our Gifted and Talented (GT) referral window is open from October 1–30. If you would like to refer your child for GT testing, please complete the referral information using the link below. This is a great opportunity to share your interest in having your child considered for our GT program. Please be sure to submit all required information by October 30.
