Butler Spring Concert Series - 5th & 6th Grade Strings & Band
Our Butler Music Department is an amazing showcase for the talent of our students. The 5th & 6th Grades were performed with the Strings, Band, and Chorus - Tuesday, June 2nd. The numbers of students who chose to play an instrument this year at the elementary level was monumental - and a foundation for the next levels of opportunity with the performing arts at Unami, CB South, and beyond! Congratulations to our students who impressed and amazed their families on Thursday! Thanks to Mrs. LaRose (Strings) and Mr. Robinson (Band) for your leadership and love for music! Butler absolutely shined!

CB South Senior Walk - 6/9
There is nothing more exciting than seeing how our Butler Bears grow and the accomplishments they have made! The CB South Senior Walk is an incredible district-wide tradition where graduating seniors visit their elementary school to walk the halls one last time before graduation. On Monday, June 9th, CB South students came to Butler and received a Clap-Out celebration as they were led by Mr. Funseth through the halls. It was so nice to see everyone return to the "roots!" Best wishes, CB South graduates!
Butler's Move Up Day - 6/8
Move Up Day at Butler Elementary is an exciting day! During the morning of June 8th, Butler teaching staff rotated through classrooms to introduce themselves as next year's grade level teams! We also welcomed many new students who will become Butler Bears for the very first time! We look forward to an amazing opening for the 2026-2027 school year!
Kindergarten "Practice" Lunch - 6/8
On Move-Up Day, our AM/PM Kindergarten students joined together for an exciting Move Up Day and Special Kindergarten Lunch! The children ate together for the very first time - enjoying the opportunity to taste what the Butler cafeteria has to offer! Thank you to the kitchen staff for a delicious lunch!
Southside Music Fest - Grade 3 - 6/1
On June 1st, South Cluster's 3rd grade classrooms from Barclay, Butler, Jamison, Mill Creek, and Titus traveled to CB South to experience several music groups featuring secondary students! The music program in the South cluster is strong and the talent on display was incredible. Many of these students started at the elementary level, building a foundation for performance and musicality. With 26-27 third grade (strings) and fourth grade (strings and band) having the option to begin a musical instrument next year, it was an amazing "commercial" for things to come in our music programs!
