As the season of Thanksgiving is upon us, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for the incredible work you do. Each day, you inspire, uplift, and nurture creativity in your students, shaping not only their musical abilities but also their confidence and joy.

This time of year reminds us to pause and reflect on what we're thankful for—and you are at the top of our list. Thank you for your passion, dedication, and the magic you bring to your classrooms.

Just a few Thanksgiving week All-State reminders!

• Invoices will be sent for student participation the week of December 1st. Please have a PO in place prior to this date.
• There is no need to register accepted students, you will receive an invoice for the students accepted from your school.
• If you are staying at the conference hotel, please finalize your room list today and release any rooms not needed
• Have you registered yourself for the conference? This doesn't happen automatically...you must register! Follow this link to do so.
• Have you checked your students for correct spelling? Please follow this link to review rosters. Any changes must be sent to Neil Swapp by December 5th.
• Alternates to not attend All-State unless you are contacted by Neil Swapp or Amy Williams.

Don't forget to book your room at the conference hotel. We just added a second conference hotel in the same area (same price and also includes breakfast). Book now before all rooms are gone!

Invoices for student participation will be send the 1st week of December. Please keep an eye out for them and turn them into your business office for payment. Remember you must have a PO in place prior to the invoice being sent!

Just a few reminders regarding the January conference:

• Have you registered yourself for the conference? This doesn't happen automatically...you must register! Follow this link to do so.
• Check this page regularly for updates regarding parking, schedule, concert tickets, etc. Conference information is near the bottom of the page.

It's time to sign up for the state choir and concert band contests! Check the links below for all the details and deadlines. Keep in mind, it's always better to register early and cancel if needed than to miss out by registering late.

Please share information regarding the NMMEA scholarship with your graduating seniors. Students must attend a New Mexico University and major in Music Education in order to qualify. The deadline for application is December 15th.
