Hi SCA Families!

Warmer weather is ahead! We all are embracing the warmth and sunshine today! We are grateful for these warm days. That being said, March is always a long month within schools. We have entered into the dog days of school. Balancing school and activities during this time can be challenging. Our hope is that we can continue to embrace those strong connections between school and home. We have just a few weeks before a well deserved Easter Break! As always, academics is a top priority along with meeting all of the needs of each student. This begins at home with a good nights sleep, healthy meals, and schoolwork check-ins. Thank you all for your support as we finish the school year strong! As we enter the final weeks of Lent, may we also be reminded of our focus during this time is to be Christ centered.

Kids Heart Challenge is Coming!

St. Catherine of Alexandria School families,

We are excited to help create a community of lifesavers and we are asking you to join us. Sign up tonight to receive a wristband!

This year, we have an important goal to have 100% of our families learn the lifesaving skill of Hands-Only CPR! It only takes a few minutes to learn, and it can make all the difference in an emergency.

1. Sign Up for Kids Heart Challenge by downloading the free “AHA Schools” app for Apple or Android or by clicking HERE.

2. Be a hero: Send 10 texts TODAY to help save lives.

3. Complete Finn’s Mission: Complete all 7 steps, learn Hands-Only CPR, and be entered to win two Super Bowl tickets!

By signing up and raising funds, you can help us earn gift certificates for physical activity and recess equipment to support the health & wellness of our school community.

We are so blessed to have Mrs. LaRocco on staff here at SCA! She provides support to teachers, students, and works in partnership with parents. She has been working hard on creating an environment where students feel supported and continuing to promote kindness and positivity both inside and outside of school.

For the safety of our children, we kindly ask that when guests are entering or exiting the building, you do not hold the door open for others. Each adult should pause at the door and ring the bell, letting us know who they are and the reason for their visit. This helps us ensure we are aware of everyone in the building. These guidelines also apply during Extended Care pick-up.
