September is Suicide Prevention Month
Every life matters. This month, we join communities across the nation to break the silence, support one another, and spread hope. Mental health challenges are real, and asking for help is a sign of strength—not weakness.
If you or someone you know is struggling:
-
Talk to a friend, family member, teacher, or counselor.
-
Reach out to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988, or chat online at 988lifeline.org).
-
Remember—you are not alone. There is help, and there is hope.
Together, we can look out for one another, listen without judgment, and make a difference. Let’s keep the conversation going and support those around us—this month and every month.
Lunch Time Reminder
This is a reminder that our campus is closed during the school day. Students are not allowed to leave during lunch, nor eat lunch or spend time in vehicles. If you need to go to your vehicle for something, you must first check in with an adult. These expectations are in place to help keep everyone safe
Student Drivers
Students, please remember to drive safely to, at, and from school. Follow the speed limit, avoid distractions, and always wear your seatbelt. Let’s keep our school community safe.
For those who drive to school, please get a parking pass for your vehicle. They are $2 and can get them in the WHS Office.
Event Information
Student Handbook
We encourage both parents and students to read the student handbook carefully. It provides important information about school expectations, rules, and available resources, helping everyone understand their rights, responsibilities, and how to create a safe, respectful, and successful learning environment together. Click on the link below to access the WHS Student Handbook.
