FCS Wraps Up 2024-25 School Year and Reflects on Family Feedback
Over the past year, Fowlerville Community Schools took time to reach out and listen to families who chose not to re-enroll their students when school began in Fall 2024. Through a combination of online surveys and personal phone calls, district staff engaged these families to better understand their decisions and identify opportunities to strengthen programs and services for all students.
The most common reasons families shared were relocation, family transitions and the pursuit of different educational opportunities. Other reasons included specialized needs, social struggles, and homeschool programs that better fit their child’s interests and needs.
Like many districts across Michigan, Fowlerville Community Schools has experienced a gradual decline in student enrollment over time due to more competition and falling birth rates. Despite these challenges, the district remains committed to providing a welcoming, supportive learning environment where every student can thrive. By learning from this feedback and working together, Fowlerville Community Schools aims to continue improving services and offerings to meet the needs of all families in our community.

News From Kreeger Elementary School
As we conclude another successful school year at Kreeger Elementary, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks for the trust and support you have given our staff throughout the 24-25 school year. It has been a privilege to partner with you in your child's education. Watching our students grow academically, socially and emotionally has been incredibly rewarding, and we are proud of all they have accomplished.
As we transition into summer, we encourage you to help your child continue building on their progress by engaging in iReady Math and Reading. Just 30 minutes per week in each subject can make a significant difference in maintaining and strengthening skills they developed this year. iReady is designed to meet your child at their level and provide personalized lessons that support ongoing growth in a fun and interactive way. iReady offers tips for completing lessons at home.
Thank you again for being an essential part of our school community. We hope your family enjoys a safe, restful and joyful summer. We look forward to welcoming your student back in the fall, refreshed and ready for another great year of learning at Kreeger Elementary!
News From Fowlerville Elementary School
The staff at Fowlerville Elementary School would like to thank all of our families for a great first year in our new building. Everyone has been so kind and patient as we moved buildings, developed new routines, all while having a brand new office staff.
Please encourage your student(s) to continue reading over the summer. Every minute your child reads (or you read to them) makes a difference in their reading ability. Car rides are excellent ways to practice math skills, counting cars, looking for numbers, identifying shapes and patterns. iReady reading and math will be accessible for you over the summer as well. Continuous practice helps maintain
skills and develop ones needed for the coming school year.
Our staff wishes you a great summer, full of memories and adventures!
