Halloween Fun at Our Centers!
We will have Halloween parties in our centers on Friday, October 31st. Children are welcome to bring their costumes, but it is not required. If your child needs to practice wearing his costume, please feel free to send it in at the start of next week and let us know - we'll practice it daily!
Parents do not need to send in any treats for our party, Strive will provide edible and non-edible treats when our children practice trick or treating!
More Halloween Fun at U of M Flint TONIGHT!
Strive Center is also a proud sponsor of U of M Flint's Inclusive Halloween event again this year!
Our team participates in this amazing event every year! We will have a trick or treat table and hope to see your family there!
This event allows all families to trick or treat indoors, and includes crafts, snacks, a silent disco, and more!
The event is from 5:00-7:30pm on Friday, October 24th

Grant Information for Families
We know how hard all our families work to ensure their children have everything they need. We like to share information on available grant programs with you periodically as a way to help.
Bluestone Voices for Autism This program awards financial aid each quarter to support families of and providers for children on the autism spectrum. We have had families have success with this program in the past, and they have a deadline of September 5th for this quarter's awards.
United Healthcare Children's Foundation This program has some eligibility requirements outlined at the link, but reviews applications on an ongoing basis, so there is no specific deadline to apply. We have had families receive grants from this organization as well.
Autism Speaks Grant Info This page lists a variety of grants for families affected by Autism.
Meet the team!
Caylee joined Strive in May 2025 after graduating from Grace Christian University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Before coming to Strive, Caylee worked at Dollar General, where she learned a lot about communication, patience, and connecting with people from all walks of life.
When Caylee’s not at work, you can usually find her curled up with a good book, enjoying the outdoors, or spending time with her amazing family. Caylee’s really looking forward to growing here, learning alongside everyone, and being part of the incredible work Strive is doing!
