Dear Winnona Park Community,
It was great to see all the kids come back to school this week after the fall break. Just two short reminders from me: 1) There’s still time to sign up for Parent-Teacher conferences, which end next week, and 2) as the weather turns cooler, put your child’s name in any sweater, sweatshirt, coat and jacket they may wear to school and inevitably leave somewhere on the playground.

An update on the Update
A big “Thank-You” to the 47% of families who completed the Annual Data Update (ADU). Not that I’m competitive or anything, but WP families are almost in last place compared to the other CSD schools. Come on, we got this!
The ADU is how families verify or update critical communication and health information, and do sign-offs for the handbook and code of conduct. Please click here for more information or log in directly to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Help make WP the first to reach 100% completion.
Community Member Newsletter Sign-up
Parents will automatically receive CSD Weekly, which includes their child's school newsletter, via the email address they registered in the CSD parent portal. Interested community members, or extended family, may sign up for the CSD Weekly by clicking here.

Read-A-Thon Kickoff: Book Swap on Friday, Oct 10
We’re kicking off the Read-A-Thon with a community Book Swap! Please bring in a gently used children’s book your family no longer needs. Donations can be dropped now through Oct 10 in the collection box at the school’s front door. On Friday, Oct 10, students and families can choose a “new-to-you” book from the swap selection. Thank you for sharing the stories you’ve loved so others can enjoy them next!
