Morning Worship and Devotion
Daily Scripture Focus
Each morning we start the day with a time of singing and a word from scripture. Morning devotion time is a time for focus, learning, and putting God first in what we do each day.

Some of the scriptures used this week were:
- Psalm 107:21
- Psalm 69:30
- 1 John 1:9
- Acts 9:17-19
- Acts 9:36-42
- Acts 10:31
- Ephesians 4:22-23

ACT +Science with Writing
On Tuesday, October 14th the Seniors will be taking the ACT. These students have been working on college admission and scholarship applications. Performance on this exam is a critical component in being accepted and in earning scholarship offers. The October exam is one of the last that they can use for these applications. Being able to take this exam at school in a familiar environment helps cut down the stress. Even still, please remember these students in your prayers as they work to open doors for their future plans.
***Did you know that all students at CCS get to take the ACT 3 times as a regular part of their school program? This is triple the amount of opportunities that public school students are provided. All CCS students take the ACT in the spring of 10th grade, the spring of 11th grade, and the fall of 12th grade. In addition, 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students take the PreACT each spring.***
