Celebrations: SIT LIAISON: SUE ELSON

With the transition to K-2 learning, how do we balance mandates and initiatives and still celebrate the joy of early childhood?

Parental Involvement: SIT LIAISON: DEB MARASCO

How do we ensure that equitable opportunities exist for all families? How are we recognizing and honoring the contributions of each family and their support of our school? How do we fully engage those parents who are working outside of the home? How can we engage each family in meaningful ways?

Hospitality: SIT LIAISON: _DALE WILDENHAIN

How can we meet the needs of new families entering our community of learners? What information needs to be available for distribution?

Academic Excellence: SIT LIAISON: MICHELE RINN

What does best practice look like at Frenchtown? What is our current reality? How do we know students are learning? How do we respond when they are not learning at expected rates? How do we respond when they perform above expectations? What are the opportunities and practices present at other schools in EG? How are we communicating these practices with all stakeholders? What opportunities exist for continued improvement?

Partnership with PTG: SIT LIAISON: CHERYL VAUGHN

In what ways can PTG and school initiatives become more fully aligned?

Holiday Donations!

In the spirit of the upcoming holidays, Frenchtown will once again be accepting donations of gift cards, toys, scarves, mittens, and gift wrapping supplies to support our families in need. With recent economic conditions, there are several families at Frenchtown that could use our support to provide some very basic needs this holiday season. If you are able to contribute, please send a new unwrapped toy or a gift card in an envelope to our office, marked “Holiday Donation”. Thank you for your support!
