GRE Arts Night - We hope to see you there!
Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 6:30-8:00 pm.
Each student will have at least one work of art on display and some small groups of students have signed up for musical performances. We can't wait to showcase the amazing work of our GRE artists!
You are welcome to stop by anytime within this time frame. This is a wonderful family experience, so we ask that students remain with their parents or guardians to enjoy the performances and gallery together.
Valentine's Day Parties Information
Date: Thursday, February 12, 2026
Time: 2:30 PM-3:20 PM (set up from 2:15-2:30)
**All volunteers must exit the building by 3:30PM**
VOLUNTEERS: Classroom parties are limited only to those who have signed up and been approved. Due to space within the classroom, the number of volunteers is limited to 5. The parties and volunteers are coordinated collaboratively with the room parent(s) and classroom teachers.
Volunteer Schedule:
Volunteer Arrival: Parent volunteers can go to classrooms no earlier than 2:15 p.m.
Volunteer Dismissal: Volunteers must be out of the building by 3:30 and out of the way of dismissal/bus traffic. The back parking lot must be cleared for walkers and bike riders by 3:30.
Parking for Volunteers
Please observe the No Parking signs along Glacier Ridge Boulevard. Also, observe the Fire Lane Restrictions on school property. Local police may ticket you. We also will open our playground for parking and there is parking along the streets available in the neighborhood.
Volunteers Signing Out Students
Volunteers who wish to take their children with them after the party can do so by completing a form in the office prior to coming to the classroom. This one sign out will include any/all of their children they plan to take, including the classroom they are volunteering in. The dismissal sheet will be shared with teachers prior to the end of the party. All students listed on the sheet will come to the main hallway to connect with their parent when announced.
Food
All food items should be pre-packaged at the factory and have the ingredient list on the packaging.
ALLERGIES: Please adhere to the food allergies of the students in the classroom. A letter from the clinic should have come home with students in classrooms who have known food allergies. Please use the SnackSafely allergy guide. Please do not send items that contain or may contain ingredients on the allergy list. If you have questions about allergies in a particular classroom feel free to call the office. Parents of students with allergies are welcome to send alternate food items for their child as a safety precaution.
Fruit: Fruit must have a peel or be pre-packaged at the factory (ex. oranges/clementines, bananas, pre-packaged sliced apples). This reduces allergy cross-contamination due to food preparation at home. Pre-cut fruit trays purchased at stores or prepared at home have similar cross-contamination concerns and should not be brought to parties.
Party Planning
Teachers and room parents should work together to plan the parties, activities, and food. Only confirmed volunteers will be allowed.
Specific information about passing out Valentines will be shared by individual classroom teachers Candy with the valentines is discouraged due to allergies. Small items such as pencils, stickers, etc are preferred.
If you have questions, please feel free to contact the school at 614-733-0012.
