About Me!
Dear Families,
My name is Caitlin Barnard, and I am so thrilled to be your child’s teacher this year! This will be my sixth year teaching, and I can’t wait to begin this journey with your family.
Fourth grade is such an exciting time of growth. Students begin to develop more independence and take on greater responsibility for their learning. It’s a joy to watch them build confidence and take pride in their progress throughout the year.
I believe that a strong home and school connection is essential for student success. Please feel free to reach out anytime to share how your child is doing—whether academically, socially, or emotionally. I’m here to support them every step of the way, and I look forward to working together to help your child thrive.

- I love everything Disney!
My husband and I got a puppy over the summer. She is a beautiful golden retriever named Sunshine.
Every summer I try to travel somewhere new. This summer it was the Mexican Rivera.
My husband and I just recently purchased our first house!
Family is number one.
I am the oldest of four siblings.
I play pickleball regularly.
I love doing pilates.
My favorite color is pink.
I love the ocean.
Classroom Behavior Management
At Sage Canyon, we strive to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where every student can thrive! We follow the Wrangler STAR Code each day:

Students are expected to demonstrate STAR behavior throughout the school. This year, we are excited to continue using Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), an evidence-based approach that teaches, encourages, and celebrates positive behavior while helping create a positive learning environment for all.

Parent Volunteers
Parent volunteers are always welcome in my classroom. If you would like to help with multiplication or division timed tests, leading small groups, planning parties, or helping at home please reach out!
I will start having parent volunteers in late September.
