Marathon Patriotic Opportunity
Dear families,
The Hopkinton Marathon Committee has reached out with a unique and special opportunity for 20 of our students. On the day of the Boston Marathon (April 21, 2025), students selected will be invited to meet at the Town Common to honor the professional athletes as part of special programming for the 250 th Anniversary of Patriotsβ Day. Students will be given a flag and specially designed patriotic t-shirt. They will line up along Marathon Way as pro and para division athletes proceed out to the start line.
Students must arrive at 8:00AM with a parent or guardian and the program will conclude at 9:45AM. Parents will be able to sit in the Start VIP seating area adjacent to Marathon Way.
If interested, please submit the waiver along with students age and shirt size to marathonchair@hopkintonma.gov. Students will be notified by email on March 27th.
Additionally, on Saturday, April 19 at 2:00PM the committee will be hosting a 100-yard dash for any students ages 5-12. Pre-registration is required and limited to first 200 entries.

Dear Parents of the Class of 2029,
I hope this email finds you well. My name is Evan Bishop, the principal at HHS and I would like to invite you to our upcoming 8th Grade Parent Night on Thursday, March 27 at Hopkinton High School. This event is for parents only and begins at 6:30 pm in the high school athletic center.
Parents and guardians will have a chance to hear from administrators, students, and subject matter leaders about the high school experience. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions, learn about the transition from 8th to 9th grade, and see how to sign up for courses at the high school.
We look forward to meeting you in a few weeks!
Go Hillers,
