The district set an exciting new goal for our Zearners—and we’re making it fun! Our challenge is for 100% of each class to complete 60 on-grade-level Zearn lessons by Mardi Gras Break. WE DID IT!

Students worked hard to meet this goal and on Wednesday, February 25th, all students will be treated to an extra recess and a special 'skittles' treat for showing their ZEARN Skills! The extra recess will be tagged onto the afternoon recess time. Grades K-2 will remain outside from 1:35-1:45 and grades 3-5 will remain outside from 2:05 - 2:15. Duty teachers will be relieved by administration for this extra recess.

Students across grade levels have been working hard to complete Fins' Challenge and earn donations in support of the American Heart Association. As of Friday, February 20, students had raised a total of $14,179.79, well over 100% of the set goal for this year. Any student who raised $10.00 or more dollars in online contributions are invited to a special event on Friday, February 27th. (See Below) Students and families are to be commended for this overwhelming support.

Attendance Matters! Attendance Matters!

Student attendance is vital for learning! We want all of our students to be in attendance every day. Students who attend school for the entire month are eligible to earn that month's brag tag to add to their ring. Classes who earn 97% average attendance for the month receive the monthly reward. Classes meeting the goal for February will be able to dress in their favorite color on Tuesday, March 3. Teachers will notify parents if their class met the goal. Keep up the great work!
