Mr. Macken's Message
Centerville Families,
This week, we had the opportunity to hold our Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast and personally thank many of the incredible individuals who give their time to support Centerville Elementary. While it was wonderful to connect with so many of our volunteers in person, we know many of our 400+ volunteers were unable to attend. We want every parent, grandparent, retiree, family member, and community volunteer to know just how grateful we are for all you do. Whether you help in classrooms, support projects, volunteer at PTA events, or lend a hand behind the scenes, your time and care make a tremendous impact on our students and staff each day.
Thank you for being such an important part of the Centerville community.
Go Cougars!
Mike Macken

Help Our Peace Garden Bloom!
Do you find peace in the soil? We are looking for a dedicated volunteer(s) to be our "Garden Guardian(s) " to help maintain our school Peace Garden through the summer months.
Our Peace Garden is a place of reflection for everyone, but it needs a little extra love to stay beautiful.
We’re looking for someone with a green thumb and a few hours a week to help with:
Light weeding and deadheading flowers
Watering if needed
No master gardener certification required—just a love for nature and a desire to give back. If you’d like to spend some quiet time outdoors while helping our school, we’d love to hear from you!
