February has flown by and as this month comes to a close, we are also reaching the end of our 2nd Trimester!

I was blown away by how much we Packed the Piggy this week!! Pending the final count, we raised roughly $600 which is just amazing. Thank you so much for your generosity and for helping us exceed our goal of $396! This money goes to the Arlington Heights Council of PTA's scholarship fund for AHSD25 students.

We are currently at an 11% response rate for our 5 Essentials Survey! We need a 20% response rate to generate a report! If you have not already done so, please consider taking the survey here and help Patton generate a report! More information about this survey can be found further down in the Post. Your feedback is very valuable and we appreciate your input!

Third, fourth, and fifth grade students will take the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) for both English/Language Arts and Math starting next week. The fifth graders will also take the Illinois Science Assessment (ISA). Classroom teachers have shared specific class testing schedules. We appreciate your support in limiting student appointments and outside commitments during this time, as our students do their best when they are present, on time, and ready to test with their teachers and classmates.

Mr. Whitaker and our 1st Grade friends can't wait to entertain us all with Cookies! The Musical - a sweet story of friendship, togetherness and learning to accept everyone for their differences! Let's sing some songs, do some dancing, and celebrate the fact that whether you're a fudge stripe, a chocolate chip, or a sugar cookie, there is space for EVERYONE in the cookie jar!!

Doors will open at 6:40pm and the show will start promptly at 7:00 pm. We can't wait to see you there!

I am delighted to share that NINE Patton Panthers have advanced to the State finals for the PTA Reflections "I Belong" competition this year! Congratulations to all of these students!

This is a fantastic accomplishment for our Panthers and I am so excited for them all! There are also 3 Panthers who did not reach the state finals but received Honorable Mention and we are excited to celebrate them as well:

All students and their families have been invited to the "Spring Spotlight" event hosted by Northwest Cook Regional PTA on April 21st!

Have Chipotle take care of dinner for your family on Wednesday, March 4th and give back to the Patton PTA at the same time! Mention Patton at the time of your order and 25% of sales will be donated to our amazing PTA!

Given the fact that we have navigated winter AND spring recently, our Lost and Found is positively groaning with coats, jackets, sweaters, gloves, and hats (LOTS of hats!) If you see anything familiar, please come and take a look or remind your child/ren to come and get their items during the school day. All unclaimed items will be donated on Friday, March 6th.

The statewide Illinois 5Essentials Survey is now open through March 13. This survey is an opportunity for parents/guardians, teachers/staff, and 4th through 12th grade students to share thoughts on the important elements of school effectiveness, specifically about your/their school.

Your participation in the parent portion of the survey will help us understand the conditions at your child’s school and guide improvement. Your identity and survey responses will be kept completely confidential and will never be connected to you or your child.

Come along and help support the ABC/25 Foundation at their 2nd Annual TopGolf fundraiser. This was such a successful event last year and I hope many of you are able to attend it this year! You can register for the event by clicking on the image below or clicking HERE.

Our wonderful Multicultural Night is returning this year on Wednesday, March 18th. Every year this event gets bigger and better and we are so excited to explore all the different cultures that make up Patton again this year! Last year we had many delicious dishes, fabulous performances and lots of informative presentations. If you would like to showcase your culture this year, please fill out THIS FORM.

Pre-Registration for families with incoming NEW to District 25 1st-5th and ALL Kindergarten students for next school year, 2026-2027, is OPEN.

Please note, this is for new Kindergarten students and those students who do not currently attend Patton. Registration for our currently enrolled students will open on May 1st.

If you know of any families who are new to the area or if you have neighbors with school age children that might be interested, please feel free to share this information with them!

If you have an incoming kindergartener, please do not delay in registering them. Knowing our student enrollment assists us in planning for next year. Please encourage any neighbors who are sending their oldest child to kindergarten to register early. We appreciate your help!

If you are dreading the mere thought of packing lunches every day, then have no fear, because our Food Services department has finalized the August lunch menu and it can be found right HERE.

More information about the lunch process can be found below. Our food services department will be sending out a communication soon that will include your child(ren)'s ID number. You will need this number if you are setting up a new MyMealTime account.
