Romeo High School Athletic Event Guidelines
Dear Middle and Elementary School Parents,
We need your help. As Romeo High School administrators, we truly appreciate how our entire community comes together to support our Bulldogs on Friday night football games. It’s always a joy to see our young Bulldogs—our elementary and middle school students—cheering proudly in the stands alongside the rest of us. This spirit of unity is one of the many things that makes Romeo such a special place, and we want to continue encouraging our younger students to be part of these exciting events.
Unfortunately, we’ve noticed a growing number of unsupervised elementary and middle school students running around Barnabo Field during games. This has led to a few concerning incidents involving vandalism, injuries, and other inappropriate behavior. To help keep everyone safe, we’re reminding families that all students under high school age must be accompanied by an adult at all times when attending Romeo High School athletic events. Students in elementary or middle school will not be admitted without a parent or guardian present.
Our goal is to maintain a safe, positive, and family-friendly environment for everyone to enjoy. Additionally, please remember that all high school and middle school students must have their school ID with them for entry (a photo of the ID on a phone is acceptable). Any unsupervised students will be returned to their parents, and repeat occurrences will result in the student being asked to leave the event.
We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Our hope is that Friday nights at Barnabo continue to be a fun and memorable experience for all Bulldog fans—young and old. Thank you for helping us make that possible.
With appreciation,
Bernie Osebold, Principal
Cody Smith, Athletic Director

Skyline Reminder - 6th Grade
As a reminder, 6th-grade students will be attending the Skyline field trip with their R Time classes/teams on the following dates:
If you did not request a school lunch on your child’s Skyline permission slip, please ensure they bring a sack lunch (preferably with all disposable items) and a water bottle. Be sure to check the weather and have your student dress appropriately for the day’s forecast.
Please note: This is a phone-free, bag-free field trip. Only lunches and pre-approved medical items (cleared by the school nurse and administration) may be brought.
