Another question to pray and ponder—do I serve where I do not receive “credit?” We have been discussing this in Shalem practices. Do I only serve in my church or children’s school? Or am I willing to show up somewhere where I don’t have an iron in the fire? Many of you do. You’re doing the work where no one sees you but your Heavenly Father. Let’s keep or start going to the places. Dare I say it might not be this event or SUG because you will be seen!?!?!? I struggle that I serve to “feel better.” This, too, is not at the heart of loving unconditionally. Join me in pondering and praying - not to shame but to convict. As we keep saying (after months of meditating to Ephesians) “Pray long and hard.” Eph 6:18b We journey together.
