Welcome to a New School Year!
Welcome to a new school year at Parker Elementary! Whether you are returning to the Pride or joining the Parker family for the very first time, I am excited to welcome you to the 2026β2027 school year.
There is something special about the start of a new year. It gives every student a fresh opportunity to learn, grow, set new goals, make new friends, and discover just how much they are capable of achieving. I truly believe this is going to be an incredible year for our Parker Lions.
Our theme this year is Mission Possible: Together, We Can Do Anything! Throughout the year, our students will be challenged to work hard, believe in themselves, support one another, and keep going even when learning gets difficult. We want every Parker Lion to know that challenges are simply opportunities to grow.
Families, you are an important part of this mission too. When our school, students, and families work together, we create the kind of community where children feel known, supported, challenged, and inspired to be their very best. Your partnership and support make a difference, and we are grateful to have you alongside us.
At Parker, we will continue to set high expectations while making sure our students know that they have people in their corner cheering them on every step of the way. We want our Lions to be excited about coming to school, proud of their growth, and confident that they can accomplish great things.
As we begin this new school year, remember: Every Day Matters. Every Student Grows. Everyone Continuously Improves.
I cannot wait to welcome our Lions back through the doors and begin another amazing year together.
Many Lions. One Pride. One Mission.

Final Student Placement Update
This weekend, we conducted a final audit of student rosters after identifying students who were missing from our database due to an issue with the districtβs online enrollment portal. Adding these students required us to rebalance some class rosters and make adjustments to ensure appropriate Special Education services, balanced student groups, and successful learning environments.
While some students may see a change in their homeroom teacher, more than 90% of students impacted by a homeroom change remained with the same partner teachers within their instructional rotation. A small number of students experienced additional changes to their teacher rotation as we finalized placements.
Please check ParentSquare on the morning of the first day of school to confirm your childβs final teacher placement. Some adjustments were made today and will not appear until the overnight system sync is complete.
We made every effort to maintain consistency for students while also considering Special Education services, student needs, behavior considerations, and balanced student populations across classrooms.
Thank you for your flexibility and partnership as we prepare for a successful start to the school year!
