Attendance

A reminder regarding student attendance: Per Mendham Borough Board of Education regulation 5200, "A day in session shall consist of not less than four hours, exclusive of recess and lunch periods." A student who arrives late or leaves early and does not meet the four hour minimum will be marked absent. Students must be present for a full day (at least 4 hours of instruction).Furthermore, a student that is absent for any reason( excused or unexcused) for 18 school days is considered chronically absent.

Late to school or absent

Please email or call Nurse Kaitlyn to inform the school if your child will be absent or late to school. Any child that arrives after 8:35 will be marked tardy and must be signed in by their parent/guardian.

Pick Up Patrol

Please note that any changes regarding your child’s dismissal plan MUST be entered in Pick-Up Patrol. After 1:00 p.m. any changes must be called into the main office. Staff will send your child to the designated area as specified in the daily dismissal report.
