FIELD DAY FUN FIELD DAY FUN

Field Day was a fantastic event and a great way to mark the end of a successful school year. Our students had a wonderful time participating in collaborative games. They demonstrated teamwork and sportsmanship as they created lasting memories with their classmates. The joy and camaraderie that filled the air reminded us of the importance of fostering a supportive school community.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our dedicated Physical Education teacher, Mrs. Graham, whose meticulous planning and enthusiastic facilitation made this event an overwhelming success. Her passion for promoting physical activity and team spirit truly shone through. We also thank our parent volunteers. Your commitment to enhancing our children's school experiences is deeply appreciated, and we are immensely grateful for your contribution.

GRE HAS TALENT GRE HAS TALENT

Gold Rush students have talent that they confidently shared with the school community. Our students showcased an impressive array of talents, from soulful singing to graceful dancing to hilarious joke-telling. It was truly a testament to the diverse talents and creativity within our school.

We were all amazed by the confidence and poise displayed by each performer. It takes courage to step onto a stage and share your talents with an audience, and our students did so with grace and enthusiasm. Their performances were not only entertaining but also highly engaging, captivating the audience from start to finish.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our dedicated music teacher, Ms. Rickard, for her hard work and dedication in organizing this wonderful event. Ms. Rickard’s passion for music and commitment to nurturing the talents of our students were evident in every aspect of the talent show. Without her guidance and support, this event would not have been possible.

PTO INTRODUCES GIFTCROWD PTO INTRODUCES GIFTCROWD

PTO is introducing GiftCrowd this year as an easy, free, and virtual way for GRE families to express their gratitude toward our school’s teachers and staff. With GiftCrowd, end-of-year contributions are easily collected and organized into a meaningful group gift, while you can add personalized greetings for your favorite teachers and staff members.

The deadline for joining end-of-year gifts is May 23rd at 5:00pm. To access the Gold Rush Elementary gifting page, click this link or use the following QR code.

If you want to participate with us and streamline your end-of-year gifting, here's some helpful information:

1. Using this site is free and the full amount gifted goes to our teachers and staff. There is a credit card processing charge that is paid upfront by gift givers.
2. You can gift directly to an individual team member. You can also participate in a team-wide group gift that will be split equally between all GRE teachers and staff.
3. Teachers will be made aware of who participated, but donation amounts are not shared. Many modest donations add up, and the gesture, not the amount, is appreciated.
4. On May 23rd at 5:00 pm, the site will notify GRE Teachers and Staff the amount they have been gifted. They can then use the site to turn that gift amount into gift cards from their favorite stores and restaurants.
5. This is NOT a fundraiser - just an easy and fun way to acknowledge our school community. Participation is totally optional.

WE HOPE TO SEE YOU TONIGHT! WE HOPE TO SEE YOU TONIGHT!
