Veterans Day Recognition
Clinton-Massie Local School commemorated Veterans Day by hosting a Veterans Day Recognition Ceremony and Parade on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. This special event was an opportunity for our school community to come together and show our gratitude to the brave men and women who have served our country.
National Honor Society Partners with Magnified Giving
NHS members participated in Magnified Giving last school year. Magnified Giving is an organization, founded by Roger Grein, that teaches students the importance of philanthropy. Mr. Grein's philosophy is that everyone has something to give, whether that be their talent, their time, or their treasure. Magnified Giving promotes philanthropy by giving a grant of $1,000 to a nonprofit of our choice. The students were divided into four sub-committees and visited separate nonprofits, then voted on our top choices as an organization.
The students decided to grant the $1,000 to the Clinton- Massie Local Schools foundation. With the funds awarded, the members wanted to establish a resource that elementary school teachers can use to support their specials' programs. This initiative is functioning as a grant, allowing teachers to apply for needed materials, such as art supplies, gym equipment, and music tools. Once approved, the requested items will be purchased to help enrich students’ learning experiences in these important areas. The members were excited to recently select the grant winners and gave several teachers items that will help them in their classrooms.
