PRINCIPAL MESSAGE
Dear Tatarian Families,
Welcome back to a brand-new school year! We hope your summer was filled with fun, rest, and special memories with loved ones. As we begin the 2025–2026 school year, we’re excited to open our doors and welcome back our returning students—and give a big Tatarian welcome to all our new families!
This year promises to be one full of learning, growth, and community. Our teachers and staff have been hard at work preparing classrooms, lessons, and experiences that will inspire curiosity, build confidence, and support every child in reaching their full potential.
We believe that a strong partnership between school and home is key to student success. Please be sure to stay connected with us through our weekly Tatarian Times, ParentSquare, classroom communications, and school events throughout the year. We truly value your involvement and support.

WELCOME TO TATARIAN (NEW STAFF)
We’re thrilled to welcome our new staff and look forward to the positive impact they’ll have on our students. Together, with your continued support, we’re excited for a successful year ahead!
We are excited to welcome Ms. On as our new 1st grade teacher! With a passion for early learning and a nurturing approach to teaching, She brings great energy and dedication to our team. We are confident your children will thrive under her guidance and care.
Welcome Mrs. Jackson to our staff! We will be sharing her with Starr Elementary. Her role and goal as the art integration teacher is to enhance the existing curriculum through the arts, aligning it with the current standards being taught in each classroom. We know she will be a great support for our students and staff. We are excited to have her on our team!
Welcome Mr. Mario to our school community as our new Plant Coordinator. He plays a vital role in keeping our school clean, safe, and welcoming for all students, staff, and families. We’re grateful to have him on our team and know he will be a wonderful addition to our school.

ATTENDANCE
"Everyday Counts" is a district-wide initiative that emphasizes the importance of consistent attendance for student success. It's a reminder that each day of school is a building block for your child's future, and that regular attendance is crucial for academic progress and developing life skills.
For the 2025-26 school year, we will be promoting attendance within each classroom. Classrooms will have the opportunity to earn incentives by being present and on time.

Finding or resetting your ATLAS Parent Portal password is not difficult, but the answer depends on which of the two types of ATLAS Parent Portal accounts you are using:

Personal Account
An ATLAS Parent Portal Family Account is automatically created when a student is first enrolled into a Fresno Unified school.
Your ATLAS Parent Portal Family Account password is:
Provided upon request by your student’s teacher
Provided upon request by your student’s school office staff
Printed at the bottom of student progress reports and report cards
If you have forgotten the password you selected when creating your ATLAS Parent Portal Personal Account, resetting it is easy!

- Enter your email address
- Request and then enter a verification code
- Select a new password
