Dear Grandview families,

As we move closer to spring and warmer weather, I continue to be incredibly proud of the growth, effort, and commitment I see from our students and staff each day. Classrooms across Grandview are filled with meaningful learning, strong engagement, and students demonstrating our TigerPRIDE values: Purpose, Respect, Integrity, Determination, and Excellence. It is exciting to see students taking ownership of their learning and celebrating their progress.

This is an important time of year for monitoring student growth and preparing for the final stretch of the school year. Third quarter report cards will go home the week of March 9, and Parent/Teacher Conferences on March 11 will provide a valuable opportunity to celebrate progress and discuss next steps. These conversations are an essential part of our partnership with families, and we appreciate your continued support in helping every student succeed.

We are also looking forward to several exciting upcoming events. Kindergarten Registration will take place on March 4, and Girls on the Run registration is open through February 22. Additionally, our GES Skoolaid Olympics on March 19 will be a fun and meaningful opportunity for students to work together, demonstrate teamwork, and build school spirit.

Thank you for your continued partnership, support, and commitment to Grandview Elementary. Together, we are building a strong foundation for every student’s success.

With Tiger pride,

Dr. Susan Short

Principal, Grandview Elementary School
