Letter from Ms. Bedford
Hello Smallville,
We have had an amazing few weeks! Last week, we celebrated World Down Syndrome day and AISD Pride. I love seeing all of the students and staff members reflect on the importance of maintaining an inclusive environment where everyone is treated with respect and dignity.
Make sure to check out our Green Tech Academy’s Instagram page (@insmallgardens) to see our new flock of baby chicks! I’m always excited about the expansion projects for all of our campus programming. Thank you to everyone who attended our Dual Language potluck last week too, nothing is better than breaking bread with our community. Also we held our first, Sporting Good Swap here on campus. There were raffles with prizes from Torchy Tacos, ATX Bikes, Alamo Drafthouse, Westgate Lanes, and more. Thank you to Mr. Chris Anderson and our PTA for hosting such a fun event.
Let’s keep the good times rolling as we head toward the month of April!
Have an amazing three day weekend!
Stay Present Cougars,
Bedford
