Healthy Minute
Preventing the spread of illness
With illnesses on the rise, it’s important to practice healthy measures in order to prevent the spread of sickness. Please stay home if you are unwell or unable to be learning effectively in school. If your child has a fever above 100.4, they need to stay home for 24 hours or until fever-free without fever-reducing medication. If they need to be home for an extended period of time please provide our attendance office with a medical note to excuse the absence(s). Also, please have the student or adult at home reach out to the teachers for missed work.
Have a safe and healthy winter break!
Counselor Corner
In December and January, students work on their Academic and Career Planning unit for a part of their Spartan Start. Students utilize a web based platform called Xello. Xello is used district wide in grades K-12 and helps students with their academic and career planning through interactive lessons. Each grade level has different lessons and activities for students to complete to help them learn about careers. All students in grades 6-8 complete the “Matchmaker” assessment which will give them possible career matches based on their responses. Ask your child which careers they matched with, and if that was surprising to them or expected.
Check out this video for more information about Xello for grades 6-12.
Registration is now open for 5 more of our intramurals!
Click the links below to register, an email with a payment link will be sent at a later date.
Students earn Spartan Tickets for showing Work, Respect, Belong behavior. They are able to use those tickets to purchase items in the Spartan Store. If you would like to contribute, here is the wishlist.
