GREETINGS!
Happy Friday!
What a great first week back after break — and a busy one, too! Field Day and the second grade field trip were an awesome way to wrap up the week.
We’ve got some exciting things coming up next week as well including a Staff vs. Junior High Basketball Game at 5:00 PM at the Junior High. We’d love to see lots of fans there to cheer us on!
Have a wonderful weekend!
COME CHEER ON OUR STAFF!
We may be the Elementary team, but don’t let that fool you — we’re coming for the W!
The Greenfield Jr High team thinks they’ve got this in the bag, but we’ve got heart, hustle, and... well, at least one person who knows how to dribble.
Come out and cheer for your favorite team (hint: it’s us ). Whether you're there to support or just witness the comedy, it’s going to be a night to remember!
FIELD DAY!
What a perfect day for sunshine, smiles, and serious fun!
Huge shoutout to our awesome STUCO crew, Ms. Thingpin, and Ms. Swenson for putting together an epic field day! From start to finish, it was full of laughter, games, and good times. Thanks for all the energy and effort you put into making it a blast!
PICTURE RETAKES MONDAY!
LOVE YOUR SCHOOL DAY & VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY!
Gators Give Back, our community service group, will be setting out on our BIG Love Your School event Saturday, November 1st from 8am to 12 noon.
Love Your School Day Project is an annual event where we spend a morning of service completing some projects to show love to our school, and we have just added our second year project to Just Serve.
During our time last year we hauled fresh garden soil, planted new beds, and cleaned up our Gator Gardens. This year we will be focusing on our primary playground and a smaller refresh to our gardens.
We will be painting and sprucing up the swingsets and tetherball courts, adding interactive art boards, and creating a mural, but this isn't possible with just 4-6th graders, we would love to have our community there to support us making these big impacts happen.
You can find out more at our link below or by replying to this email.

FALL FESTIVAL!
VETERANS DAY WALL OF HEROES!
Dear Gator Parents and Families,
We are excited to continue the tradition of creating the “Wall of
Heroes” in our main hallway. This is a great way to honor all of our
Gator relatives and friends that have served and who are currently
serving in the military. We would love for our families to send in
pictures of loved ones to add to our wall. Please make sure to send in a
copy of the picture (no originals please). When submitting the picture,
please include the attached information form in order to have all the
information available. This way we can return the picture back to the
correct student. Please send in pictures NO LATER than October
31st. Pictures that come in after October 31st will be returned or
displayed in your child’s classroom. Thank you so much for your help
and support! Any questions feel free to reach out to
kristin.kenney@gilbertschool.net or alyse.sandoval@gilbertschools.net.
