February invites us to reflect on love, history, and the shared humanity that connects us across cultures and continents. At Dealey, love is lived out daily through kindness, respect, and the way we care for one another as a learning community. Rooted in Montessori principles, we intentionally teach grace, courtesy, empathy, and peaceful problem-solving, helping students learn how their words and actions impact others. Love at Dealey shows up in collaboration, inclusion, curiosity about the world, and a shared commitment to ensuring every child feels seen, valued, and safe. It is love for learning, love for community, and love in action—guiding our students as they grow into confident, compassionate global citizens.

As a Montessori and International Academy, Dealey is proud to be a diverse, international learning community where students are encouraged to explore the world through curiosity, respect, and empathy. Black History Month remains an important time for reflection, learning, and appreciation within our broader commitment to cultural understanding and global citizenship.

💌 Valentine’s Day Celebration – Friday, February 13, 2026 💌

This Friday, 2/13/26, we will celebrate our annual Valentine’s Day tradition at Dealey!

💖 Students and staff are invited to wear their favorite Valentine-inspired outfits — pinks, reds, hearts, love-themed accessories, or anything that spreads kindness and joy.

At Dealey, Valentine’s Day is about more than treats and cards. It is a celebration of kindness, friendship, community, and love for learning—reflecting our Montessori values of grace, courtesy, and peaceful community building.

This semester, Mrs. Herman will continue the PTA Veggie Stars but only for Prek- 5th graders.

Event Name: Veggie Star Lunch Program

Event Date/Times: 1/26, 2/27, 3/11, 4,20, 5,18- All 10:30am- 12:15pm

If applicable, highlights of what will be happening at the event:

Who is invited to come (parents, students, community): Parents can volunteer at students lunch to “catch” students eating veggies, they will put the children’s name on raffle tickets. One winner will be drawn per cohort (prek/k, 1-3, 4-5, 6-8)

Volunteer opportunities and who to contact/how to sign up. 3 parents can volunteer per shift, there are 2 shifts and they can sign up on the signup genius link.

We are opening a new session of Cooking on Thursdays that has remaining spots, so please keep that in the newsletters (not middle school). Registration here.
