Do you have fond memories of your travels as a student?

Are you ready for an adventure in 2026?

Mrs. Pierangeli has three exciting trips planned for adults in 2026:

Grand Tour of Thailand – 9 spots remaining

  • 14 –days February 2 – February 15, 2026
  • Possible 3-day extension to Cambodia

Highlights of Scandinavia – Waitlist only

  • 12-days August 1 – 12, 2026
  • Possible 3-day extension to Helsinki, Finland

JUST FINALIZED AND ADDED:

Denali National Park & Alaska Cruise

  • 12-days May 12- 23, 2026

If you would like to receive detailed information on any or all of these trips, please email Mrs. Pierangeli at marypierangeli@gmail.com. Early enrollment by June 26 will provide the best price possible for the Alaska trip and there will be a longer period of time to pay for the trip with smaller payments.

Enrollment is possible with a $99 deposit and enrollment in the automatic payment plan. No additional payment will be due for 30 days.

Traveling with members of our own communities (and their friends) creates a personalized experience that other group tours cannot duplicate. All of the “must see” sights and many meals are included and you will not need to plan daily activities (although there is time for some individual and culinary explorations). All you need to do is enjoy the experience! Please feel free to forward this information to anyone you think might be interested. They say an experience is better than a thing!

Perhaps, it’s time to test that theory.

A Life Update from Heather McManus, Class of 2012! A Life Update from Heather McManus, Class of 2012!

From Class of 2012 Alum, Heather McManus:

"So much has happened between graduation and now! I’m sure it’s not unique that overtime hobbies and interests have taken the back burner. That simply doesn’t need to be, so I jumped back into everything I once loved.

This September, my fiancé, Ashley, and I will be getting married. Charlie, our service dog, will be bearing the rings! She and I work together helping aspiring gigging musicians gain the confidence and skill set they need to be their absolute best performer.

In addition, I handle the sound and lights for her personal shows as she’s a wedding/event/everything singer as well. We’re always traveling for shows and that really builds traction. We’re on our way to New York City soon for a mental health charity event!

A fun little tidbit, 13ish years later and I’m back on stage for a reimagination of MacBeth as Lennox. The shows will be taking place at Apple Tree Arts in Grafton, July 18th through 20th.

I’m also dabbling in VA work as of late and getting demo material in order. I’m hoping on getting myself out there within the next few months. Right now, I’m part of an online immersive horror story podcast group called Screamplay. We can be found on Spotify, YouTube, or wherever you listen to your podcasts."

Sounds like great things are happening for you, Heather! Good luck and congrats on your wedding!!

SHRHS Alum Molly Quinn is making her dreams come true with her dance studio, Alvah Dance in Sutton, MA. Molly opened Alvah last year and on June 20th at 5 PM at St. John's HS, the studio will mark the culmination of their first year of success with their recital, "Oneder." Also on staff at the studio is Abbie White ('17) who is the school's Assistant Artistic Director.

From the school's mission statement, it's obvious that Molly has carried the theme of "pride, unity, and excellence" with her long beyond graduation:

"At Alvah Dance, we are dedicated to nurturing the artistic spirit and fostering a love for dance among the youth in our community. Our mission is to provide a vibrant and inclusive space where aspiring dancers can cultivate their passion, build confidence, and unleash their creative potential through the art of dance.

We strive to create an environment that celebrates diversity, encourages teamwork, and promotes self-expression. Through our expertly crafted dance programs, experienced instructors will inspire and guide students as they embark on a transformative journey of movement, discipline, and artistic exploration.

At the heart of our mission is a commitment to instilling values such as perseverance, dedication, and respect. We believe in empowering young dancers not only with the technical skills needed to excel in various dance forms but also with life skills that will serve them beyond the dance studio.

We aim to be a hub of creativity and innovation, offering a range of classes that cater to different ages, skill levels, and dance styles. By fostering a supportive community, we aspire to create lifelong memories, lasting friendships, and a deep appreciation for the beauty and joy that dance brings to our lives."

Congratulations on the first year of Alvah Dance, Molly! We look forward to seeing further successes for you in the future!

Gemini Arnberg ('21) Embarks on Photography Journey Gemini Arnberg ('21) Embarks on Photography Journey

"After I graduated in 2021, I moved down to Georgia with my partner and fellow alum, Logan Jones. I’ve been traveling a lot since we moved down here. I love seeing something different everyday compared to the same thing for 18 years. Where I live, we don’t have lakes so we go hang out at the river a lot which is cool. I work for a very popular haunted house in the fall time. Logan and I are working on buying a house sometime soon and starting our own little family. Eventually, I’m going to school for human services.

I’ve been into photography as long as I can remember using my sisters as models. Since moving to Georgia, I've decided to start turning my passion into a business. I’ve done some cool work such as the haunted house, weddings, an engagement, and some races at a local dirt race track. I look forward to doing more photo shoots in the future!"

Cutter Beck shares:

"I graduated with a BS in Computer Science, with Minors in Astrophysics and German, with High Distinction. I hope to pursue Computational Astrophysics in the future, and my first step in doing so was completing my senior capstone, or Major Qualifying Project as we call it (MQP), studying the solar atmosphere with machine learning models. We are working on a publication for an astrophysics journal we hope to publish by the end of the summer about our contributions to the study of coronal holes."

Congratulations, Cutter, on your success!! We look forward to hearing more about your journey!
