Wiggin Street Parent Update

Families,

Happy Friday! Remember that this is the final day of our Mumkin Sale. We appreciate all purchases that support our school and specifically our PBIS events for the year.

We do not have school on Monday due to Teacher In-Service. Teachers will be learning more about ELA Curriculum that is being piloted. They also will learn more about our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) as well as Multi-tiered Systems of Supports that help schools provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support to all students.

On Tuesday, we celebrated Constitution Day. There was an announcement that included the ringing of the bells. This is a tradition that takes place on Constitution Day to commemorate the signing of the U.S. Constitution in Philadelphia on September 17, 1787. The third grade also celebrated with a Constitution Birthday Party!

We have some special events coming up in October. More information is below and they are included in our Upcoming Events.

Our Wiggin St Mumkin Sale has been extended to Friday, September 20th. Make sure to share your student's individual shopping link with family and friends to stock up on Fall decor. Please reach out to Jenn Grassbaugh at 740-501-5418 if you have any questions or need assistance.

Our next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 1st, at 5:00 pm in the Library. Everyone is welcome!

"I'm excited to be partnering with Art to Remember this year. Students are beginning to work on projects in Art class that I will be sending to Art to Remember soon. Closer to the end of October parent order forms and information will be coming home and orders can be placed in early November for items that you may want to purchase for your family or family members and friends. The items will arrive before Christmas break to ensure that you will have them to give as gifts if you would like. There is no obligation or pressure to participate but instead, I hope that you find that this is a wonderful opportunity to capture your child's artwork to cherish for years to come!
