McCarroll Middle School
2023-2024
Week of September 11, 2023
What a week we had at MMS! With all the the obstacles we faced, students and staff were ADAPTABLE and in good spirits by the end of the it. I can't thank everyone enough for the patience and GRIT you all showed through this week.
This will be the one and only pep rally where everyone is invited. If you are wanting to come to our first pep rally and not stand in line for a badge to get checked in. Please visit the school and scan your driver's license by the end of day Monday, September 11, 2023, if you have not already been to campus lately. We would like to print badges for those that have filled in the following form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfBVRh4138QezB_a1Ms6GZpfNjDZcexLqfhSWUigHrWMh3jKw/viewform?vc=0&c=0&w=1&flr=0 to have your badges ready when you arrive. This will allow you to not wait in line long to see the pep rally. We will allow visitors to begin to arrive at 8:40. We will not be allowing mums for the rolling chair parade or on September 15, 2023 on Homecoming day. We will reserve this special event for our high school friends.
If you are bringing food for your athlete before a game, please remember you can not come into the school, MPB or Field House. Students must come to your car to pick up after school. Thanks for helping us keep our students and staff safe.
If you are entering the school for any school business, use must use the front doors near the electronic MMS sign. Do not knock on any glass doors to get into the buildings.
Our first Eagle Reward Party will be September 20. We will have 2 bounce houses, Spike ball, corn hole, fast 4s in the main gym, basketball games in MPB gym, concessions stand and other fun things happening in the classrooms. Students must have no zeros - all work turned in, no more than 2 unexcused absences, no discipline referrals and they can still go if they are failing. If you are concerned about your students grade, please email or call your student's teachers to continue being apart of your child's success. Teachers have tutoring in the morning before school and after school. Please reach out to them for tutoring information.
