R.F. Pettigrew Panther Tracks
May 2026
Thank You, Pettigrew Families and Students!
As we wrap up another incredible school year at Pettigrew Elementary School, I want to sincerely thank our families for your partnership, support, and trust throughout the year. Your encouragement, involvement, and commitment to your children’s education help make Pettigrew such a special place. Together, we have celebrated growth, learning, leadership, and countless memorable moments. Most importantly, we have had the privilege of watching our students learn, grow, build confidence, show kindness, and demonstrate what it means to be true Pettigrew Panthers. Their energy, resilience, curiosity, and leadership make our school a joyful place each day. We are truly grateful for the strong school-community connection that helps our students thrive and succeed. We have the best students!
Celebrating the Amazing Pettigrew Team
Next week, we will celebrate Staff Appreciation Week and I want to take a moment to recognize the outstanding team we have here at Pettigrew. Our teachers, educational support professionals, office staff, specialists, custodians, nutrition services team, counselors, and support staff work tirelessly each day to create a positive, caring, and engaging environment for our students. Their dedication, compassion, and teamwork are what make Pettigrew such an exceptional school.
As principal, I feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside such talented and committed individuals. Every staff member plays an important role in helping our Panthers learn, grow, and succeed. I truly believe we have the very best staff, and I am thankful every day for the heart they pour into our school and students.
Wishing You a Wonderful Summer!
As the school year comes to a close, we hope all of our Pettigrew Elementary School families enjoy a fun, safe, and relaxing summer break! Summer is a wonderful time to rest, recharge, explore new adventures, and spend quality time together as a family.
We also encourage students to continue learning throughout the summer by reading regularly, practicing math skills, staying active, and exploring their interests. Even a few minutes of reading each day can make a big difference and help students stay sharp for the upcoming school year.
Thank you again for being such an important part of our Pettigrew community this year. We are proud of all our Panthers and look forward to welcoming everyone back in the fall for another great year together!
