Principal's Message

As we near the conclusion of the first semester, several significant events are scheduled to occur. We will have MAP assessments beginning this week in Reading and Mathematics. Next week, our 8th graders will be taking the Science MAP assessments. Later this month, we will have midterm exams for all high school credit-bearing courses. Our exam dates are December 18th - 20th. Information about each one of these assessments will be communicated prior to the event. On December 19th and 20th, we will have House Selection Day for our students. Our 8th graders will be sorted into their houses on December 19th, and our 7th graders will be sorted into their houses on December 20th. More information about houses can be found on our school website. Click here to learn more about our house system.

Annie Jr. Audition Sign Ups!

ANNIE JR. will be performed April 11-13, 2025 on the main stage at the Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts. All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students may audition for this show. Please review the instructions for signing your student up for an audition.

We are looking for students who are singers, dancers and actors with an engaging personality and strong stage presence. We want students who are good team players, punctual and responsible. This production will consist of between 30-40 students who are highly committed to the musical program. Rehearsals will be after school 3-4 days a week with some long nights and longer rehearsals as we get closer to opening. There can be no conflicts after March 31, 2025.

PTO Update

We hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving! We enjoyed treating our teachers to a trail mix bar before the break; special thanks to all that donated items for it.

We're still seeking donations and help for our Teacher and Staff Holiday Luncheon.

This year's luncheon is on Wednesday, December 18, and to thank our amazing teachers and staff, we're presenting them with small gifts. We would love to combine our efforts/funding with yours! https://nams-pto.square.site/holiday Thanks for your help! Also, special thanks to our luncheon sponsors: Maple Orthodontics and Premier Dental of New Albany
