Coming Soon

As you may know, a new state law has recently gone into effect restricting student cellphone usage during the school day. In alignment with this law, Lincoln Middle School will be implementing Yondr pouches within the next several weeks.

We are currently in the planning stages and will be holding trainings and informational meetings with both families and students to ensure a smooth rollout. Our goal is to create a learning environment where students can stay focused, connected, and fully engaged in their school experience.

Thank you for your partnership and support as we make this important shift together. More details will be shared soon.

Hello Lincoln Community!

Your friendly PTA Reflections Chair here, letting you know that the Reflections Art Program is kicking off once again! I hope you will share this with your students.

WHAT IS REFLECTIONS? Reflections is a national PTA arts program celebrating creativity and encouraging students to explore the arts offering them the opportunity to have their work recognized on a school and potentially District, State and National level! Art projects are based on this year’s theme: “I Belong…” Reflections entries are first judged at school level and then first place entries are sent on to compete at the higher levels.. All LMS students submitting an entry will be invited to a celebratory lunchtime ceremony, where their work will be displayed and lunch provided. Scholarships and prizes are awarded to national winners. ALL ENTRIES ARE DUE BY WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 15.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Students can participate in 1 or more of the following 6 categories:

Dance Choreography, Literature, Music Composition, Film Production, Photography & Visual Arts

Students who identify as having a disability may enter in the Accessible Arts division (to learn more please do contact me).

SUBMISSIONS MUST BE ORIGINAL, NOT AI CREATED, ANIMATION CREATED WITH A SOFTWARE PROGRAM IS NOT ALLOWED (BUT FILMS CAN INCLUDE A PORTION OF ANIMATION), COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL CANNOT BE REPRODUCED. EACH SUBMISSION HAS TO BE ‘OWNED’ BY 1 STUDENT BUT IF STUDENTS WANT TO CREATE A GROUP PROJECT THEY CAN NOMINATE AN INDIVIDUAL WHO WILL TAKE OWNERSHIP.
