We’re proud to share that our school had 95% attendance for the month of September — just a slight 1% dip from last year’s 96%. While that’s still a strong number, every day in school makes a difference!

• Signing up for District 161’s text message alerts is quick and easy. Simply text the word “YES” to 67587 from the cell phone on which you wish to receive text messages. 🚨 The 30-day grace period for free and reduced lunch has ended. If your family has not been automatically approved through the state for SNAP/TANF or Medicaid, or if you have not submitted a new free/reduced lunch application in Skyward, your child’s status may have returned to “paid.”

To ensure your student receives the correct lunch benefits, please complete a lunch application in Skyward as soon as possible. 🚨

Breakfast/Lunch Funds can be added to your child's food account online via Skyward Family Access. Exact cash or check are accepted in the school office.

2025/2026 Fee's

Breakfast $ 1.85 per day

Lunch $3.75 per day

Milk Only $.050

Free/Reduced Lunch Applications are available online via Skyward Family Access.
