Principal's Message
October is showing to be a very busy month! Thank you for all who were able to come out to the Parent Meetings held at Brookhaven. I hope you found the information helpful in supporting your students. Please always reach out to the classroom teacher if you have questions or concerns. We value your partnership in your child's education.
This month we have the following events:
October 6- Student Council Elections
October 7 - Virtual Science Night. Look for more information from teachers.
October 4-7 - Fire Safety Week
October 8 - Student Holiday/No school
October 11 - Student and Staff Holiday/No school
October 14 - Fall Pictures
October 15 - Bronco of the Month Ceremony
October 15 - Early Out 2 hours prior to the normal dismissal time
October 19 - Report Cards go home
October 25-29 - Red Ribbon Week
Morning Drop Off:
Parents, please have your students exit your car from the passenger side. Our staff will no longer walk between cars to help your student. If you are unable to have your child exit from the passenger side, you will need to get out of your car and walk them to the curb. Also, please make sure they are ready to exit when you pull up and say your goodbyes while in the line so that your child is ready to unbuckle their seatbelt and exit quickly. This will make the line move much faster. Thank you for your understanding.
Please make sure you do not drop your student off in the parking lot. You will need to park your car and walk your student to the cross walk. If you want to walk your student to the front doors, you are welcome to do so. Dropping off in the parking lot is a serious safely concern as cars are entering, backing up and exiting during this time.
