This course covers the fundamentals of four
cycle engine operation, hands-on training in
performing complete overhauls of OHV engines
(Briggs & Stratton) and includes diagnostics
and failure analysis. Students will learn major
repair and diagnostics of engines on lawn
mowers, weed whackers, rototillers, power
washers and other types of outdoor equipment.
All students will receive a Briggs&Stratton
technician account and access to
Briggs&Stratton Power Portal.
Credits: Math, Physical Science (physics) and General Electives
Industry Credentials: Master Service Technician, SnapOn 504 Multimeter and
Kohler Gas Engine Technician
