Welcome!

Dear Elmore School Families,

It was so nice to see so many smiling faces last night at our ice cream social! If you weren't able to make it last night, we missed you, but look forward to welcoming your child into our new school your Wednesday morning! the doors open at 7:30 and school starts at 8:00 am. Dismissal is at 3:00. If you are planning to pick up your child they are welcome to play on the playground after school under your supervision. Bus students will be supervised by one of us until the bus arrives. As of now the bus will not be at the Elmore School until 3:35 or 3:40 so you can plan on a later arrival at home. Please let me know if you child will be riding the bus.

Lunch: School Hot Lunch will be available this week on Wednesday and Friday. See the Menu below for options. Meat sandwiches or PB&J are available on Thursday this week. Please send me an email at mailto:diane.nicholls@lamoillesouth.org with your orders for the week by 6:00 pm tonight. School lunches are FREE for all students. Students may also receive Breakfast before school begins. We have a variety of cereal, milk, yogurt, cheese sticks, and juice available to choose from.

We will have family Hot Lunch on the first and third Monday of each month starting in October. Please consider signing up to provide a home-cooked meal for the school using the green "meal train" button below.

Specials: We are excited to have a host of teachers from MES who will be providing our specials this year.

I am honored to be the teacher at the Elmore School. This is my 7th year at the Elmore School and 19th in the LSSU School Districts. I love teaching at the Elmore School and feel very lucky to be part of the community. I have a passion for helping students achieve their best, and look forward to working with your child this year! I earned my BA in Elementary Education with a certification in Early Childhood Education from Johnson State College. I later earned my MA from the University of Vermont in Curriculum and Instruction in 2013. In addition in teaching, I am a certified child yoga teacher, and work at a summer day camp with a focus on yoga and mindfulness.
