For the 2025–26 school year, each group of 24 registered students k-3rd, and 32 in 4th and 5th grade, equals one teacher. Timely registration helps us plan for the right number of teachers and maintain balanced class sizes.Currently, we are missing 134 registrations from our current TK–4th grade students, which equals 5 fewer teachers for next year. If you are planning to return to McKinley for the 2025–26 school year, please submit your registration as soon as possible. All the information you need is included below. Para el año escolar 2025–26, cada grupo de 24 estudiantes inscritos de K a 3º, y 32 de 4º a 5º, equivale a un maestro/a. Inscribirse a tiempo nos ayuda a planificar el número adecuado de maestros/as y mantener clases equilibradas. Actualmente nos faltan 134 inscripciones de estudiantes que están en TK a 4.º grado, lo que equivale a 5 maestros menos para el próximo año escolar. Si tiene planes de regresar a McKinley para el año escolar 2025–26, por favor complete la inscripción lo antes posible. Toda la información necesaria está incluida más abajo. What is STOPit? / ¿Qué es STOPit?
STOPit is an anonymous, two-way reporting system that allows students, guardians, and others to report threats, violence, self-harm/suicidal ideation, and others. It is used by more than 8,000 organizations nationwide to create safer, better-connected, and healthier learning environments.
STOPit es un sistema de reporte anónimo y bidireccional que permite a estudiantes, tutores y otras personas reportar amenazas, violencia, autolesiones/ideación suicida, entre otros. Es utilizado por más de 8,000 organizaciones a nivel nacional para crear entornos de aprendizaje más seguros, mejor conectados y saludables.
How Does it Work?
- Students and other school community members are invited to download the STOPit app on their phone - QR codes are posted on school campus
- When an incident occurs, students can use the app to anonymously report the incident. The report is sent to an assigned school administrator, who then responds. If they need more information, the app allows for two-way communication so that the school administrator can get more information without identifying who submitted the report.
- The STOPit app also includes a Crisis Text Line to provide free mental health support and crisis intervention for those who need immediate support, 24/7/365.
¿Cómo Funciona?
- Se invita a los estudiantes y miembros de la comunidad escolar a descargar la aplicación STOPit en su teléfono – los códigos QR están publicados en el campus escolar.
- Cuando ocurre un incidente, los estudiantes pueden usar la aplicación para reportarlo de forma anónima. El reporte se envía a un administrador escolar asignado, quien luego responde. Si necesita más información, la aplicación permite comunicación bidireccional para que el administrador pueda obtener más detalles sin identificar a la persona que envió el reporte.
- La aplicación STOPit también incluye una Línea de Texto de Crisis, que brinda apoyo gratuito de salud mental e intervención en crisis para quienes necesitan ayuda inmediata, los 7 días de la semana, 24 horas al día, 365 días del año.
