We kindly ask all families to avoid parking or stopping in the fire lane during arrival and dismissal times.

Additionally, our activity buses need a clear path to enter, exit, and safely turn into the lane. When the fire lane is blocked, it creates safety concerns and can delay transportation.

We appreciate your partnership in helping us keep all students safe and ensuring a smooth dismissal process. Thank you for your cooperation!

Dental Exam Requirement: All students in Kindergarten and 2nd and 6th grade must have an oral health examination performed by a licensed dentist. For the 2025-26 school year, the exam must be completed after November 15, 2024. The Dentist must fill out the form required by the State. This form must be submitted no later than May 15, 2026. (Please disregard this notice if you have already turned it in.)

School Attendance, Truancy & Chronic Absenteeism: What Parents Need to Know

Practice schedules, common questions, our track record board, and more can be found in the resources section of the website: https://schools.snap.app/herget/resources. Coaches will communicate through SNAP, the website you registered through. Other information will also be put out on the Herget Schoology page. Winter sports start in October, and online registration for those will be opened up about a month before the start of the season. If you have any questions, please email Mr. White at awhite@sd129.org.

Spring sports registration is now open for 7/8 boys volleyball, 7/8 girls soccer, 6/7/8 boys and girls track and field! You can register online at https://schools.snap.app/herget, and then clicking registration. You must be registered online and have an up-to-date sports physical on file with the school nurse in order to participate. Spring sports will start up the week of March 16th. Full practice schedules will be posted in the resources section of the athletics website. If you have any questions, please email Mr. White, awhite@sd129.org or the coach listed with your sport.
