Accessing a Student Grade Report in Schoology

With the influx of students returning to campus there has been some shuffling of students from one teacher to another. How do you access student grades from the previous teacher? First, the previous teacher will need to re-enroll the student in his or her courses. This is best done after hours to avoid confusing the student. Once the student has been re-enrolled, the previous teacher can access a grade report via the Schoology Gradebook. From the Gradebook window, select the 3 dots in the upper right corner and select “Print Reports.” Select the correct grading period, the student for whom you want the grade report for and select “Generate Report.” After the report has been generated, right click on the screen to print the report.

If you want your report to include a course average, navigate to Grade Setup and scroll down to “Visibility Settings.” You will want to temporarily turn off “Hide overall grade in student grade report.” Once you have run your report, navigate back and turn it back on. Remember, student averages should not be displayed within Schoology. Student averages should only be available via HAC.

After you have generated the report, do not forget to unenroll the student from your class. Navigate to Members, locate the student on your roster and select the gear to the right of their name and select “unenroll.”

Are you remembering to sync your Schoology gradebook daily? Don't wait until the end of the nine weeks to sync all of your grades. Avoid the rush and sync early. The more often you sync, the better. Attendance Matters - Zoom Attendance Reports Can Help

Did you know you have the ability to pull reports from a Zoom meeting to not only show who attended, but how long they were there?

From your Zoom account, select "Reports" from the left side panel and then select "Usage." Use the search feature to locate the meeting you want to pull the report from. Click on the highlighted "participants" number and your meeting data will populate. You will be able to see the names of all participants, when they joined and left the meeting and how many minutes they were in attendance.

Need to save the data? You can easily export the data as a csv file.
