Brought to you by the Hewes Counseling Team
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and middle school is a critical time when many students first experience anxiety due to academic pressure, social dynamics, and developmental changes. Parents can help by having open conversations, setting healthy screen time habits, and supporting kids in managing stress through coping strategies like mindfulness and physical activity. Our counseling team has developed this informative newsletter to provide you with informaiton on how to support your student.
